This week’s featured Young Living distributor is Kathaleen May. Kathaleen has a 15-year history with Young Living and we’re so excited to spotlight her story for you!

How did you get started with the company?

A friend invited me to hear Dr. Gary Young speak in Dallas in 1997. I was prompted to listen to his message and signed up! I carried an Essential 7 around putting oils on everyone I could and they always worked!! I was hooked.

What do you like most about Young Living?

The essential oils are powerful and can help the body may quantum leaps in healing. They work!!

What are your top 3 favorite Young Living products and why?

1. Thieves–Keeps me and my family well or recovering quickly
2. Sulfurzyme–My body craves it and at 54 I don’t have the “normal” aches and pains of “aging”
3. Valor–My “chiropractor in a bottle”. So good for joint aches, balancing the body so it can heal better, and just smells divine!

What keeps you moving forward in your business?

Solid plan for moving forward. I feel I have started getting a plan and my volume is moving up and people are starting to come my way that need what our oils have.

What advice do you have for someone new?

Share the oils with everyone you can and use your oils every day. Listen to those who have successful businesses if that is what you want to do, and choose what fits your personality and style.

Is there anything else you’d like to tell us about your story?

The oils were instrumental in saving the life of my last child who was born 3 months early. In the end, after 10 head operations and infection in the brain, he had 100% chance of having cerebral palsy and has none. He is now a 5’4″ 12 year old who has defied all medical knowledge!

How are you using social media in your business?

I am learning how to do this! Great resource. A must-do to promote business in this computer age! I have a FB page that I share oil testimonials and followers can post comments and questions. Just venturing into Twitter and going to learn Pintrest next!
